Town & County Property Tax Bills

  • We will accept Credit/Debit Cards in the Town Hall in 2025.

Town & County Property Tax bills are mailed by the Enfield Tax Collector.

Tax Collection Hours 2025

January 2 – March 31, 2025

  • Mondays 11 am –5 pm
  • Tuesdays 11 am – 5 pm
  • Wednesdays 11 am – 5 pm
  • Thursdays 11 am – 5 pm

Additional hours for January Only

  • Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm

Tax Due Dates 2025

Taxes are payable to ‘Enfield Tax Collector, Mary Cornell and will be accepted through March 31, 2025. Bills postmarked by each due date WILL be accepted.

Full Tax payments are due by January 31, without penalty.

Until January 31, you also have the opportunity to pay a First Installment. Those are also due by January 31, and CANNOT be accepted by law after this date. The second installment is due by July 1, payable to Tompkins County.

  • February 1 through February 28, 2025, a 1% Fee is Added.
  • March 1 through March 31, 2025, a 2% Fee plus $1.00 is Added.

ESCROW

If you have an escrow account, your bill will be mailed directly to your bank. You will receive a receipt in the mail to show payment.

If you don’t have an escrow account AND do not receive your tax bill by January 10, 2025, please contact the Enfield Tax Collector at townclerk@townofenfield.org or                          call 607-273-8256 and request that another copy be sent to you.

(Please note: CASH payments MUST BE MADE AT THE COUNTER. The Office of the Enfield Town Clerk & the Town of Enfield are NOT responsible for CASH payments left in the drop box, we cannot guarantee the security of payments made this way.)

Please remember that even if your bill is lost in the mail or you do not receive it for any reason, you still are responsible to pay it before the due date or a penalty will be charged.
