Enfield Youth: Winter Programs!

Enfield Youth Program EnsigniaEnfield Youth Programs offers free after-school and summer programs open to youth of Tompkins County, with priority given to Enfield Youth aged 10 and up.
These programs are offered through a partnership between the Enfield Community Council and 4H of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County.
We are currently enrolling for Winter programs, following CDC, NYS Health Department Guidelines, and Tompkins County Health Department Guidelines.

Program Offerings

Video ProductionMondays, 4:30-6:30 PM, Mar 8 – Apr 12 The Town of Enfield is celebrating its 200th anniversary, and they need YOU to help produce a short film celebrating this auspicious occasion. Bring your talents as we put together a video using GoPros, Drones, Zoom, and Video editing software.

 

Outdoor Cooking: Tuesdays, 4:30-6:30 PM, Mar 9 – Apr 13 Come test your culinary skills as we cook in the great outdoors! We’ll learn to prepare meals in clay pots, coal pits, and traditional grills. Have some recipes you’d like to try out? Let us know and we’d be happy to explore them.

 

Karate: Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30 PM, Mar 10-Mar 31 Jun Shihan Robin McColley from Cayuga Lake Seido Karate will join us for four introductory sessions of Karate training. All are welcome as we learn these new skills together.

 

Dog training: Thursdays, 4:30-6:30 PM, Mar 11 – Apr 15 Bring your four-legged companion as we join dog trainer Madeleine Ulinski as we learn to work with our canine friends. Don’t yet have a dog? Borrow one of ours! Due to insurance regulations certain breeds may not be allowed at program. Should your wonderful and beloved pooch not be allowed, we will happily provide you with a stand-in for program.

These programs are run by our Program Manager, Eric Carter and take place at the pavilion of Living Waters Church (162 Enfield Main Rd.), unless otherwise noted.
