DANCE PARTY WITH
THE PURPLE VALLEY!
We’re excited to be hosting one of the area’s favorite dance bands – THE PURPLE VALLEY – in a Benefit Dance for the Enfield Valley Grange Building Fund! THANK YOU PURPLE VALLEY FOR YOUR SUPPORT! This band has been rockin’ the central NY area since 1995, and band members hail from the various hills around Ithaca, NY. Featuring beautiful vocal harmonies and an awesome rhythm section, this six piece band plays dancing blues, swing, rockabilly, old time rock and roll, and a touch of country. Listeners and dancers of every age and era are sure to enjoy their music.
The Grange is a non-partisan rural/farm advocacy organization founded in 1867. We are working to revitalize the Enfield Valley Grange as a welcoming community gathering space, where folks from all backgrounds and political persuasions can come together and get to know each other, and where we can begin to overcome the divide that sometimes exists between urban and rural neighbors. Membership in the Enfield Valley Grange is open to all, whether you live in the country, the city or in between. We are also raising funds for needed building needs repairs and improvements, such as handicap access, a new paint job, electric upgrades, and better insulation. So join us! And please help spread the word.
