NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED 2021 Town of Enfield PRELIMINARY BUDGET 

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held upon September 30, 2020 at 6:00 pm, via the Zoom Online Meeting Platform (Visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82595846961

Meeting ID: 825 9584 6961) in the Town of Enfield, New York, for the purpose of receiving public input and comments considering the adoption of the 2021 Town of Enfield PRELIMINARY BUDGET  AS THE 2021 TOWN OF ENFIELD ANNUAL FISCAL BUDGET

 

The 2021 Preliminary Budget is on file and available for review at the Town Clerk’s Office for anyone desiring to review the same. 

The proposed budget may also be accessed at http://townofenfield.org/budget

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, the salaries of elected officials in said Preliminary Budget are set as follows: Town Supervisor $24,000; Town Board Councilperson (4) at $3,500 each; Town Clerk $22,000.00; Town Highway Superintendent $61,500; Town Justice $17,000.

At the time and place of such Public Hearing, the Town Board will take statements, testimony, and evidence from all persons interested in the subject hereof and concerning the same, and the Town Board may or will take such other action thereupon as is required or permitted by law. All residents of the Town and the general public are invited to attend this Public Hearing.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that at the aforementioned time and place all citizens shall be afforded the opportunity to voice their approval or opposition to said budget.

Comments may also be dropped off in a secure drop box at the Town Hall at 168 Enfield Main Road, Ithaca, New York 14850, mailed to the same address, or emailed to townboard@townofenfield.org. Comments must be received by 5:45 pm on September 30, 2020 to be read at the Public Hearing.

Individuals with visual, hearing, or other impairments or disabilities that require or request assistance should contact Town Clerk Ellen Woods 1-607-273-8256 or townclerk@townofenfield.org at least 48 hours prior to the time of the Public Hearing.

This public hearing is held via Zoom per NYS Executive Order 202.55 Continuing Temporary Suspension and Modifications of Laws Related to the Disaster Emergency.
