  • The Enfield Fire Department has proudly served the Enfield community since 1948. It provides fire protection as well as emergency medical care to Enfield and other surrounding towns.

    Pick-up is every other Friday.  Containers should be at the curb by 6:00 a.m..
    Tompkins County Recycling mails out a schedule of exact dates every year (it is also at www.recycletompkins.org/editorstree/view/1019). For dates and hours when people may drop off hazardous materials and electronics at the recycling center (in Ithaca), go to the Web page above and then click on “Home.”

    During national and state elections, the Enfield Highway Department, 475 Enfield Main Road is the polling place.
    Local Ithaca City School elections are held at the Enfield Elementary School at 20 Enfield Main Road.
