TIRE COLLECTION EVENT
WHEN: Saturday, October 14th, 10 am to 2:00 pm ONLY
No dumping allowed before or after the event
WHERE: Town of Enfield Highway Department
475 Enfield Main road, Ithaca, NY
The tires that are collected will be shredded and repurposed into products such as road surface and playground material. Tires must be clean due to equipment capabilities used to process them. Clean tires shall mean: free from mud, debris and gravel and pressure washed before arrival if dirty.
RATES: $2.00 per passenger and light truck tire
No tractor trailer, over sized tires, or ag tires
No off road or solid industrial tires
Tires mounted on rims will NOT be accepted.
Payment by cash or a check is required at the time of drop-off.
