Just a reminder, the next blood drive to be held at the Enfield fire station will be held on Tuesday, 3/21/17, from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. If you are interested and able to donate, please call 1-800-REDCROSS or visit their website – www.redcrossblood.org, to make an appointment. Another option is to just let me know and we’ll put your name on the list. And as usual, walk-ins are always welcomed. Blood supply is extremely low, so please consider a donation if possible. The best part of the deal is that chili will be served at the canteen. Hope to see you at this month’s blood drive. Please feel free to forward this message on to others who may be able to donate.

The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) reminds residents that with warming temperatures and dry conditions, residential brush burning is prohibited March 16 through May 14 across New York State. Due to the lack of snow cover over much of the state and with rising temperatures forecasted for the coming weeks, conditions for wildfires could be heightened. DEC will post a Fire Danger Map rating forecast daily for the 2017 fire season on its website and on the NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife App available on DEC's website. http://www.dec.ny.gov/
